Since 2012 he has been working at the Institute of Urban Design CUT – since 2020 in the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of Urban Structures, as an adjunct professor.


D. dissertation on the relationship between the city and fortifications - on the example of former Austrian fortresses: Krakow, Pula, and Trebinje.

His research touches on the revitalization of urban structure and the role of modern fortifications in city space. He is involved in disseminating and popularizing knowledge, e.g., during scientific meetings of the Architecture and Urban Planning Commission of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow.

 

Since 2013 he has been a member of the Austrian Society for Fortification Research (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Festungsforschung) based in Vienna. He also provides expert opinions as well as design and construction documentation for works on historic fortification complexes.
