Abstract
The requirements for thermal insulation of external partitions are very strict, in particular for low-energy, passive buildings or for the standard of buildings with almost zero energy consumption. The member states of the European Union have introduced the standard of nearly zero-energy buildings (nZEB). Buildings designed and constructed in accordance with this standard are characterized by very good insulation of the casing and very high tightness, limiting heat loss through leaks. This is a new standard for the design and implementation of buildings (nZEB). The article presents a methodology for determining heat losses through partitions of such buildings. An example of a real building that has been correctly measured shows a measuring system for examining the building envelope. The analyzes and conclusions carried out in the article also indicate the dependence of heat flow through partitions on internal and external climatic conditions. The innovative methodology and conclusions contained in the article can form the basis for the design of buildings with almost zero energy demand.
