Abstract
In this chapter construction and implementation of a new rough inference software system is described. This artificial intelligence tool is designed for information systems for building and processing of decision tables, reduction of attributes and generation of nonredundant rules that support the decision process. It is based on new approximate algorithms developed for processing multivalued decision tables and implemented in MATLAB. One software application in electrical engineering is presented as an illustrative example.
