Abstract
The energy intensity and greenhouse gas emissions are largely caused by the construction sector. Eurointegration and Euroeducation in the field of engineering is a key factor in the energy policy of Poland and the EU on the path of sustainable development and green economy. As part of joint activities, Erasmus+ Back2Future and HiBiWood grants were initiated to develop a strategy for the introduction of sustainable building materials: composites of natural materials sourced locally and prefabricated mass timber elements for the construction of sustainable, energy-efficient residential buildings. The Faculty of Architecture of the Crakow University of Technology cooperates in a consortium with partners from six EU countries. In the first grant from: Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Lider), Aristotelio Panepistimio Thessalonikis, Kauno Technologijos Universitetas, Study and Consulting Center, Via University College, Vilniaus Gedimino Technikos Universitetas, and in the second grant from: Rigas Celtniecibas Koledza RBC (Lider), FH-Campus Wien, Hameen Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy, Klaipedos Valstybine Kolegija, Study and Consulting Center. The projects are fully compliant with the requirements of the EU Commission, being part of the trends of Eurointegration and Euroeducation in the field of research and educational activities. They are focused on the development and delivery of innovative interdisciplinary e-learning courses using Project Based Learning (PBL) for students, teachers and entrepreneurs in the field of sustainable, high-performance building solutions and construction. They are to ensure access to the achieved environmental results for local, national, EU and international target groups.

- Abstract in Polish
W pierwszym grancie z: Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Lider), Aristotelio Panepistimio Thessalonikis, Kauno Technologijos Universitetas, Study and Consulting Center, Via University College, Vilniaus Gedimino Technikos Universitetas, a w drugim grancie z: Rigas Celtniecibas Koledza RBC (Lider), FH-Campus Wien, Hameen Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy, Klaipedos Valstybine Kolegija, Study and Consulting Center.
