Abstract
The article presents an algorithm for the direct determination of the electromechanical steady state of a squirrel-cage motor with an electrically damaged rotor circuit. The method described in the paper allows predicting the stator current spectrum considering the angular speed fluctuations caused by the asymmetry of the rotor cage. The formulated algorithm relies on an iterative solution of a nonlinear system of equations, where the cause of the nonlinearity is a mechanical equation. In the first stage, a solution to the electric part of the machine model is sought, based on which the periodic fluctuations of the rotation angle are determined. In the second step, considering the solution from the previous step, the equations are iterated until the solution with the assumed accuracy is obtained. The algorithm presented in the paper can be used to determine electro-mechanical interactions in induction machines.
