Abstract
The article focuses on the methods of managing disposable diapers that end up in the mixed municipal waste. The results of the research (based on the example of Poland) show that huge amounts are produced each year. However, the authors proved that used diapers can be used as an alternative fuel because their calorific value is higher than that of lignite coal. The energetic use of used diapers will allow you to obtain energy, save fossil energy resources and protect the environment from pollution and devastation.
