2D discrete differential operators for periodic functions

Abstract
This paper presents novel types of discrete differential operators for periodic functions of two-variables. They relate values of the first- or the second derivatives to the values of the function itself in a set of points uniformly distributed over the periods. Those operators determine the values of derivatives at each point by all values of functions over the period. Such operators allow creating easily finite difference equations for boundary value problems to second order partial differential equations. They are addresses especially to nonlinear cases.
