Abstract
The study concerned a large group of concretes diversified in terms of the type of cement, the type of coarse aggregate, the w/c ratio and the cement paste content. The samples were stored for 90 days under typical laboratory conditions, after which the material conventionally achieves the so-called air-dry state. The presented test results indicate that, after 90 days of storage in such conditions, the humidity of the samples is strongly correlated with their composition. The moisture content, depending on the composition of concrete, ranged from approx. 2.5 to approx. 5.5% m. The highest values were recorded in the case of blast furnace slag cement CEM III concrete samples. The w/c ratio and the cement paste content had a dominant effect on their moisture content. Samples from concrete made with CEM I and CEM II cements showed much lower humidity, which was mainly influenced by the cement paste content in concrete. The presented test results are to draw attention to the relatively high and variable humidity of various concrete after 90 days of storage in typical conditions. They can be useful when interpreting the test results of other concrete properties dependent on its moisture level.

Próbki z betonów wykonanych z cementów CEM I i CEM II posiadały znacznie mniejszą wilgotność, na którą wpływała głównie zawartość zaczynu w betonie.
