Characteristic features of rotor bar current frequency spectrum in cage induction machine with inner faults

Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the possibilities of induction machine inner fault detection based on rotor cage bars current measurement. Electrical and magnetic asymmetry types and their impact on rotor bar current waveforms were investigated. Measurement results were compared with finite element model simulation results.
