Abstract
We are living in the times of continuous change and man’s search for aplace to live, architecture, style of liv-ing. Architecture is shaped under pressure of changing needs of frustrated people, in pursuit of individuality, attachment to material goods. Where is the space for man in all that? The rushing world is constantly getting out of our control, while men struggle desperately to attain happiness.Searching for examples of design solutions that were created in harmony between the work of man and the work of nature is an important goal by itself. Being with Nature during every free moment teaches us and allows us to develop.Machu Picchu and all Inca cities were well inte-grated with nature. The Incas believed that man is magically and spiritually connected to the force of nature in mystical space. It is not an exaggeration to describe Machu Picchu as aplace where one can see the extreme beauty of balance between the work of man and nature. It is amixture of an attractive vision and aunique spectacle performed in clear air and at high altitude, combining tranquillity, the silence of stones, and running water. Throughout such magic, resulting from the traditions and Inca culture, Machu Picchu offers visitors new dimensions of emotions which can best refl ect amoving spiritual act.

- Żyjemy wczasach ciągłych zmian iposzukiwań czło-wieka dotyczących miejsca zamieszkania,architektury, stylów życia. Architektura kształtowana jest podpresjązmieniających się potrzeb ludzi, przepełnionych fru-stracjami, wpogoni za innością, przywiązaniem do dóbr materialnych. Gdzie wtym wszystkim jest miejsce dla człowieka? Pędzący świat ustawicznie wymyka się nam spod kontroli, aczłowiek desperacko wnim walczy oosiągnięcie szczęścia.Poszukiwanie przykładów rozwiązań projektowych, które powstały wharmonii między dziełem człowieka adziełem natury, jest celem samym wsobie ważnym. Bycie zNaturą w każdej wolnej chwili uczy ipozwala nam się ustawicznie rozwijać.Inkaskie miasto Machu Picchu oraz wszystkie miasta inkaskie były świetnie zintegrowane znaturą. Inkowie wierzyli, że człowiek jest powiązany magicznie iduchowo zsilą natury wmistycznej przestrzeni. Nie jest przesadą opisywanie Machu Picchu jako miejsca, wktórym następuje zjednoczenie ekstremalnego piękna równowagi pomiędzy pracą człowieka anaturą. To jest kombinacja atrakcyjnej wizji, unikatowego spektaklu, który toczy się wczystym powietrzu ina dużej wyso-kości, łącząc spokój, ciszę kamieni, płynącej naturalnej wody. Poprzez taką magię będące tworem tradycji ikul-tury inkaskiej Macchu Picchu oferuje wizytującym nowe wymiary odczuć, które mogą być najlepszym wyrazem poruszającego duchowego aktu.
