Abstract
Krakow, Poland is a historic city with a population of nearly 1 million people and is characterized by uneven population density. Public transport operates on often historical transport corridors. Until now, the concept of transport accessibility has not been sufficiently considered in the planning process. The presented GDATI instrument is a tool to evaluate the size of the transport network within an area, to illustrate its size on maps and to compare the level of accessibility in different areas. This paper presents the outcomes of the workshop organized in Krakow which brought together researchers and practitioners to test the usability of the GDATI instrument.
