Abstract
The article presents the equivalent model of the traction motor for the common mode (CM) disturbances, useful in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 30 MHz. The advantage of this model is the relatively simple determination of model equivalent parameters preceded by the initial measurement of the motor impedance in the frequency band of electromagnetic conducted disturbances. Additionally, the article presents the comparison of impedance parameters of the considered 125 kW traction motor with a 4 kW motor. The proposed model enables simulation in the time domain and frequency domain for the dominant common mode electromagnetic disturbances in electric circuits of the traction vehicle.
