Abstract
The heating systems are increasingly being used as a heat source condensing boilers. They use the heat of condensation of water vapor from the exhaust gas cooled below the dew point temperature. This steam condenses and gives off heat of condensation to the water heated. The most commonly used fuel in such boilers is natural gas, fuel oil sometimes. Exhaust gases from these fuels have a relatively high content of water vapor. The water vapor in an amount of several percent is also present in the products of combustion of solid fuels such as wood but also brown coal. For relative dry fuel (20% moisture in the fuel), the proportion of water vapor in the flue gas of approx. 10%. With more moist fuel – increases The paper proposes the use of the heat of water vapor condensation of the products of combustion of brown coal. The amount of heat recoverable are comparable with the case of burning natural gas.
