Experimental study on fatigue behavior of composite rectangular plates with circular internal delamination

Abstract
In this study, fatigue behaviors of rectangular plates having different shapes of cutouts have been investigated. The experimental studies have been associated with the structural health monitoring (SHM) system and the passive thermography. Based on experimental results, a finite element model has been proposed to evaluate the number of cycles corresponding to final fatigue failure.
